Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Plant Operator to join our team at the Brazos River Authority. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our water treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain water treatment plants to ensure compliance with permits and regulations.
  • Monitor plant operations and adjust process controls as needed to maintain plant efficiency.
  • Collect and analyze water samples to ensure water quality meets regulatory standards.
  • Perform general and preventative plant maintenance to ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Order and manage supplies and chemicals for treatment.
  • Maintain and repair mechanical equipment to ensure plant operations run smoothly.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years' experience in water treatment plant operations or a related field.
  • Valid Texas Class C Drivers License and good driving record.
  • Class C Water License.
  • Approved Hazmat training within six months of employment.
