Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Crisis Intervention Clinician to join our team at the Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center. As a Crisis Intervention Clinician, you will provide rapid assessment services, crisis counseling, and referrals to clients and their family members. You will conduct intakes and diagnostic assessments to determine the appropriate level of care for clients presenting with mental health and substance use disorder crises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intake and psychosocial assessment with clients.
  • Determine the urgency of client's need related to substance use and mental health disorders and make referrals to the appropriate level of care.
  • Renders immediate and appropriate guidance as well as brief therapeutic support for clients in need of clinical services or in crisis.
  • Provides multidimensional assessment and clinical evaluation, including diagnostic impression.
  • Collaborates with other professionals to assess client needs and/or plan treatments.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work or counseling.
  • LCSW-C or LCPC license preferred. LGPC required.
  • At least 1+ years of relevant experience in mental health services, preferably in crisis intervention services, suicide prevention and intervention.
