Are you a skilled mechanical engineer looking to make a difference in the field of orthopedic care? We are seeking a Stationary Engineer to join our team at Texas Orthopedic Hospital, a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality, cost-effective specialized orthopedic care.

About the Role

The Stationary Engineer is responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This includes installing and repairing equipment, performing service and preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, emergency generators, pumps, control valves, and auxiliary machinery.

As a Stationary Engineer, you will be working under the general direction of the Director of Facility Services and the Chief Stationary Engineer. Your duties will include:

  • Performing daily tests on water samples to record and determine what corrective actions are needed
  • Operating boilers, auxiliary equipment, and the HVAC system 24 hours a day
  • Preparing boilers, chillers, generators, and related equipment for annual city, state, and insurance inspections

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay, and employee stock purchase plan.
