About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Concessions to lead our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a key member of our Levy Sector team, you will be responsible for managing the concessions department to achieve outstanding results in guest satisfaction, partner satisfaction, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the concessions team to deliver exceptional guest service and maintain show-quality standards at all times.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, not-for-profits, and Levy team members.
  • Regularly obtain feedback from clients and guests to improve operations and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support and communicate Company initiatives and execute all menus, promotions, and programs as outlined by the Director of Operations in accordance with Levy standards.
  • Act as a liaison with the team, including partner's operational team, Levy team, and other areas as needed, to ensure efficient operational performance.
  • Ensure that daily walkthroughs are being conducted in both FOH and BOH for every event and thoroughly and accurately use applicable Levy systems.
  • Achieve daily sales and assigned cost goals, achieve assigned budget goals, and employ good safety and sanitation practices.
  • Follow and enforce responsible alcohol service policies, execute required daily reporting in a timely manner, and ensure required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month-end closing.
  • Ensure team members adhere to Levy guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook, forecast and adequately schedule team members to meet operational needs and desired targets, and use all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team members.
  • Promote a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale, conduct regularly scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team members, and interview, hire, train, and develop team members according to Levy guidelines.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a food and beverage operational position.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management is preferred.
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Understanding of financial concepts.
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
