Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled ED Technician to join our Emergency Department team at Jefferson Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in assisting with patient care and treatment, working under the guidance of an RN or physician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient triage, care, and treatment in the Emergency Department
  • Provide vital support to the healthcare team, patients, and their families
  • Anticipate patient needs and perform duties within the scope of your practice

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • AHA BLS/CPR certification required
  • WA State Nursing Assistant Registered (NA-R), Nursing Assistant Certified (NA-C), Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C), Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) or EMT required
  • Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy certification required; as a condition of employment, application for MA-Phlebotomist Certification must be submitted within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ED or urgent care experience preferred
  • Recent emergency department, urgent care, EMT, EMT-B, or related medical experience providing direct patient care preferred
