ED Technician

At Jefferson Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled ED Technician to join our Emergency Department team. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with patient care and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with patient triage, care, and treatment under the guidance of an RN or physician.
- Provide support to patients and their families, serving as a link between the healthcare team and patients.
- Anticipate patient and team member needs, performing duties within the scope of your practice.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- AHA BLS/CPR certification required.
- WA State Nursing Assistant Registered (NA-R), Nursing Assistant Certified (NA-C), Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C), Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R), or EMT required.
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy certification required; application for certification must be submitted within 90 days of hire.
- ED or urgent care experience.
- Recent emergency department, urgent care, EMT, EMT-B, or related medical experience providing direct patient care.
