Job Title: Activities Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Activities Director to join our team at ALLURE LIFESTYLE COMMUNITIES. As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for designing and implementing an exceptional lifestyle experience for our residents. You will oversee all resident activities, plan and schedule programs that provide physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual opportunities, and attend community planned functions to help coordinate events.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee all resident activities.
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct programs that provide physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual opportunities for our residents.
  • Attend all community planned functions and help coordinate the event from beginning to end, including set-up, running, and breaking down.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing a calendar of events.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, for planned activity events.
  • Must be willing to drive residents to events using the company shuttle bus.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in recreation, sociology, psychology, or related field preferred.
  • One to three years of experience in a senior living setting.
  • Proficient verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with posting and marketing on social media.
  • Demonstrated creative ability.
  • Strong skills in organization, delegation, and consensus building.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
