Job Overview

The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our community facilities through effective repair and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and essential equipment.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve issues in various systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, masonry, and painting/wallpaper.
  • Execute assigned service requests and perform turn-key tasks to ensure that vacant units are ready for new residents promptly.
  • Assist in organizing and prioritizing maintenance tasks and service requests efficiently.
  • May oversee the work of other team members and external contractors as needed.

Qualifications for Success

  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in maintenance within property management.
  • Proficient in using general maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment.
  • Capable of handling and utilizing chemicals and cleaning supplies safely.

Required Certifications

  • Technical training or HVAC certification is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
