We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Apartment Management Consultants. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our property buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily repairs and upkeep of the property, including the preparation of vacant units for occupancy.
  • Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure necessary tools are on hand and secure the maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday.
  • Remove snow and ice as necessary and handle all lock-outs as a result of evictions.
  • Be available to work on an on-call basis and respond to service requests in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate various hand tools, including power tools.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Effective communication skills and knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Property maintenance/handyman experience and a willingness to learn and grow with our company.
