The Child Advocacy Center at Family & Children's Place seeks a skilled Trauma-Informed Therapist to provide mental health services to children and their non-offending caregivers in situations where child maltreatment is suspected.

Job Responsibilities

As a Trauma-Informed Therapist, you'll be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions, coordinating services, collaborating with other professionals, and advocating on behalf of children and families.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in social work or a related mental health field required.
  • Certification to practice social work in Kentucky required; advanced licensure preferred (e.g. LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
  • Minimum two years of direct experience working with children and families in a therapeutic setting necessary.
