Our Baristas are responsible for knowledge of the store's coffee program and delivering outstanding customer experiences by performing the following duties:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the company and coffee program
  • Staying knowledgeable about all coffees served, including components, history, and brewing methods
  • Operating coffee brewing equipment, grinders, scales, timers, water towers, point of sale systems, and mobile payment systems
  • Restocking all store areas, including the coffee bar, condiment cart, back room, basement, mezzanine, second floor, and bathroom
  • Attending tastings for new single-origin coffees
  • Perfecting latte art techniques
  • Providing guests with memorable experiences
  • Accurately taking guest orders and ensuring complete and accurate orders
  • Working in a high-volume environment, maintaining efficiency, service, and quality while crafting each drink with care
  • Receiving deliveries, checking quality, and verifying accuracy based on invoices
  • Maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized store, including the pastry case, condiment station, merchandiser, grab-and-go refrigerator, bathroom, and walk-in refrigerator
  • Displaying a positive attitude, passion for coffee, and believing each drink brings value to the customer
