In this position, you will take charge of formulating and executing safety protocols and guidelines to guarantee a safe working atmosphere for all personnel. Your responsibilities will include conducting safety audits, investigating incidents, and facilitating training initiatives to enhance understanding of health and safety standards. Furthermore, you will spearhead project safety initiatives and work alongside regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute thorough health and safety protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct safety audits and investigate incidents.
- Supervise project safety and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Facilitate training initiatives on safety standards and best practices.
- Guide the health and safety team to cultivate a safety-oriented culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, or Chemical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable position.
- Extensive knowledge of safety compliance, health, safety regulations, and environmental health.
- Experience in project management and incident analysis.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety documentation.
- Strong leadership abilities with a background in conflict resolution.
- CIH, ASP, or CSP certification is advantageous.
