Job Description

As a Desktop Engineer at TEKsystems, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth return to office for employees. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and fulfill technology moves, adds, and changes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with vendors to procure systems access and engage vendors for telephony and data installations
  • Ensure installations are completed by target dates through multiple request management tools
  • Fulfillment responsibilities include basic PC and hardware deployments, including PC builds, installations, moves, adds, and changes
  • Provide technology support for associates and resolve technical issues or provide training as needed

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience performing moves, adds, changes, installs, builds in a large enterprise environment
  • Excellent work ethic and flexibility to work evening and weekends as needed
  • Strong communication skills and ability to respond to email and telephone inquiries
