Licensed Massage Specialist


As a certified Massage Specialist, this professional will utilize their skills to alleviate discomfort and tension, support injury recovery, enhance blood flow, promote relaxation, and contribute to the overall wellness of clients.

The compensation structure for this role is entirely commission-based.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate and respond to client needs by discussing their physical condition to deliver suitable services.

2. Suggest spa products tailored to the client's requirements.

3. Skillfully manipulate muscles and soft tissues to achieve the desired outcomes in a professional manner.

4. Administer body treatments to clients using safe and professional techniques.


5. Ensure adequate inventory of all necessary products for performing massages and body treatments, including linens, oils, and other supplies.

6. Maintain a clean and organized workspace that aligns with the facility's high standards.

7. Continuously update knowledge of personal services offered.

8. Address client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and respect.

9. Adhere to sanitation, sterilization, and room restocking protocols.

10. Participate in all team training sessions and educational meetings.

11. Follow scheduled work requirements.

12. Assist in various capacities within the spa when not engaged in service delivery.

13. Perform additional related tasks as directed by supervisors or management.

14. Comply with sustainability practices as part of the company's environmental initiatives.

15. Follow safe work practices, utilize protective equipment, and adhere to safety standards.

16. Undertake other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Graduate from an accredited massage therapy program.

• Must hold a current state license.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed massage therapist.

Work Environment:

• Work schedule may vary and could include holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
