Waxing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Waxing Specialist to join our team at Cerulean Spa at Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa. As a Waxing Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional hair removal services, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism.

• Perform high-quality waxing services, including facial, body, and bikini waxing, in a professional and hygienic manner.
• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and any skin sensitivities.
• Provide education on pre-waxing preparations and post-waxing care to ensure optimal results and client satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations to ensure client safety.
• Stay informed about the latest waxing techniques, products, and trends, and recommend appropriate products and services to clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients.

• Licensure: Must hold a valid esthetician license in CT.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Waxing Specialist or similar role, with proficiency in various waxing techniques.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of skin types, hair growth cycles, and waxing products.
• Skills: Excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and dexterity, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professionalism: High standards of personal hygiene and grooming, and the ability to maintain client confidentiality.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
