Job Summary
As a Nursing Care Specialist at Bethesda Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the assessment of residents on admission and on an ongoing basis, ensuring their needs are met and their care plans are updated accordingly. You will also be responsible for implementing necessary nursing interventions, administering IV fluids (if certified), and using critical thinking skills to address changes in residents' conditions. Additionally, you will complete a minimum of twelve hours of continuing education related to nursing each year.

Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong educational background in nursing, resulting in a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. You must also hold a current LPN license in the state of work, as well as CPR and AED certification. IV certification is required, or you must be willing to obtain it within six months of employment. Long-term care experience is preferred but not necessary.
