Job Summary

Alameda Health System is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Nurse I to join our Emergency Department team. As a member of our New Grad RN Program, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care under the close supervision of our experienced nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients, including medication administration, skin and wound care, and other essential patient care activities.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans, preparing required records and reports.
  • Accompany, assist, and represent the needs of patients to other providers.
  • Participate in promoting a healthful, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification- AHA American Heart Association (Required for Emergency Department or if overseeing or providing pediatric care on a regular basis).
