Responsibilities- Conduct patient care and related duties in support of SHG Surgeons
- Function as first call for all emergency department consults with physician backup primarily for Surgical Specialties
- Conduct rounds as needed for Trauma and Acute Care Surgery patients
- Assist in OR for trauma cases as necessary
- Provide overnight APP coverage for SLH in addition to regular shift
- Physician Assistant: Bachelor's Degree in a related field, graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program, certification by the National Commission of Physician Assistants within one year of hire
- Family Nurse Practitioner: Master of Science Degree in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner required to see patients of all ages, certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner, current Massachusetts R.N. registration, Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License
