Overview

InBloom Autism Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing life-changing Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in home-based and center-based settings. As a Behavior Therapist with InBloom, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

Responsibilities

As a Behavior Therapist with InBloom, you will be responsible for:

  • Implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by our BCBAs to address specific behavioral goals and objectives for each client.
  • Providing one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings, including homes, schools, clinics, and community settings.
  • Collecting and recording data on client behaviors and responses during therapy sessions, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Collaborating with our BCBAs to track and report client progress towards behavioral goals and making necessary adjustments to the intervention plan when required.
  • Utilizing approved behavior reduction techniques and strategies as outlined in the BIP to address challenging behaviors.
  • Assisting clients in acquiring and developing functional skills, communication abilities, and appropriate social behaviors.
  • Providing training and support to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention techniques and strategies in the home environment.
  • Maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines and professional standards in behavior analysis.
  • Completing required paperwork, progress reports, and session notes in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining open communication with our BCBAs, parents/caregivers, and other team members involved in the client's treatment.


Qualifications

We're looking for a Behavior Therapist who:

  • Has a high school diploma or equivalent and a passion for working with children with Autism.
  • Has reliable transportation, a driver's license, insurance, and a smartphone.
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Is a team player who is willing to take direction from senior staff members and work collaboratively with our team to provide exceptional care.

Physical Demands
