Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated MDS Quality Assurance Specialist for our Long Term Care Unit. This full-time role is essential in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents and staff. The MDS Specialist will be responsible for managing workflow assessments and completing the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI). This includes the electronic submission of RAI data to the State of Nevada, along with Payroll Based Journal (PBJ) submissions and the identification and transfer of Resident Assessment Group Data (RUG) to our hospital's PatCom system.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of quality measures and revenue cycle management.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance care delivery.
- Influence best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our Long Term Care department.
