PURPOSE

The Assembly Technician is a vital role in our manufacturing process, responsible for assembling various building components such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, and stairs. This entry-level position requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assemble building components according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Operate machinery and equipment to perform assembly tasks.
  • Inspect and test assembled components for defects and quality issues.
  • Collaborate with production team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize assembly processes and reduce waste.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The Assembly Technician will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The role requires standing for long periods, using hands to manipulate tools and materials, and working at heights.

The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, and lifting up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
