At Directors Investment Group, a subsidiary of Funeral Directors Life, we are seeking an experienced Funeral Preneed Sales Consultant to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with families in the Natchitoches, LA area to plan ahead for their funeral wishes.

The successful candidate will meet with families on a daily basis to discuss preneed plans, which include life insurance policies and funeral services. They will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and addressing any concerns that may arise.

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as uncapped commissions and generous volume bonuses. Our sales professionals also have the opportunity to participate in annual incentive trips and sales contests for cash prizes.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Louisiana Life Insurance License (highly preferred)
  • Funeral industry experience (highly preferred)
  • An ethical approach to sales
  • A proven track record of sales success
  • Self-motivation and proactivity
  • Excellent problem identification and resolution skills
  • Verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
  • Comfortable working with user-friendly sales software and CRM software
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work as part of a team
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Creativity and innovation
  • A valid driver's license
