About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, maintaining, and managing highways, roads, and transportation infrastructure. You will blend your engineering skills with project management and problem-solving abilities to ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with field inspections and data collection for roadway projects.
  • Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
  • Proactively assist Project Managers and Designers.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members, consultants, and our clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of project details, including design documents, progress reports, and budget information.
Requirements
  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field (MS preferred).
  • 0-5 years minimum of transportation experience, highway engineering experience preferred.
  • Intern Engineer certification (IE, formerly EIT) or ability to obtain it.
  • Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, OpenRoads Software preferred.

  • A competitive salary range of $70,000 - $81,000 annually.
