Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Facilities Technician

Job Summary:
Support the disassembly of facilities support systems, including HVAC equipment, plumbing, piping, power distribution systems, and fire/life safety systems. Utilize basic mechanical skills and hand tools to disassemble and maintain facilities equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble and maintain facilities equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Utilize hand tools and basic mechanical skills to perform tasks.
  • Work cooperatively with other technicians, supervisors, and engineers to achieve goals.
  • Contribute to the development of work method improvements, safety protocols, and material selection.

Requirements:
  • Basic mechanical skills and hand tool proficiency.
  • 2+ years of experience in facilities systems or a journeyman/apprentice electrical background.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl. Continually required to talk or hear. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including protective eye wear, hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and respirators.
