Job Title: Electro/Mechanical Facilities Technician

Job Summary:
Support the disassembly of facilities support systems, ensuring efficient and safe operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Disassemble various facilities equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, piping, and electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate work documentation and reports to track progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Collaborate with technicians, supervisors, engineers, and managers to achieve team goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.

Requirements:
• Basic mechanical skills and moderate hand tool proficiency.
• 2+ years of experience in facilities systems or a journeyman/apprentice electrical background.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
• Continually required to talk or hear.
• Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts, in high, precarious places, or around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including protective eye wear, hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and respirators.
• Must be able to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles for site inspections, including climbing ladders, walking on stairs, catwalks, and other types of uneven surfaces where activity inspections are needed.
