Senior Systems Application Engineer

As a Senior Systems Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technology that supports our Security Command Center, including the enterprise physical access control systems and video management systems. Your responsibilities will encompass monitoring technical controls to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, managing system updates and lifecycle planning, as well as supervising asset onboarding and off-boarding processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as NERC CIP, SOX, BPU, and FERC Affiliate Restrictions.
- Manage patching cycles for both workstations and servers.
- Upgrade and implement new systems as necessary.
- Oversee lifecycle management and address vulnerabilities.
- Support various infrastructure projects related to security systems.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Engineering, or a minimum of five years of relevant technical experience in physical security systems.
- At least two years of hands-on experience with physical access control and video management systems.
- Proficiency in managing Active Directory.
- Strong knowledge of networking and security for IP devices.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in security technologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the security sector.
- Certifications in AMAG Symmetry, Genetec, and Commend.
- Familiarity with NERC CIP compliance standards.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capacity to respond to emergencies and collaborate with IT and Cyber Security Risk Compliance teams.
