About the Role

Eliassen Group is seeking a highly skilled SCCM Engineer to join our team. As an SCCM Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining current and new processes utilizing SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) for automation and deployment of multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain current and new processes utilizing SCCM for automation and deployment of multiple systems.
  • Support Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and Intune.
  • Create, deploy, and maintain Task Sequences.
  • Create Packages for Operating System Deployments (OSD).
  • Deploy, configure, monitor monthly Software Updates, ADRs, patch compliance, and remediation.
  • Implement patches and upgrades to ensure server environment is in compliance.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts for automation tasks.
  • Assist the team with the management and direction setting to include setting priorities, coordinating, and the reporting of accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Track and log all activity for incidents and resolutions in ticketing system.
  • Perform routine system maintenance on servers and applications as needed.
  • Support implementation of Role Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Lead or provide oversight for automation of system management using SCCM.
  • Lead and manage oversight of troubleshooting of operational issues.
  • Assist in leading documentation and adherence of operational execution in compliance with program and customer change and configuration management processes and procedures.
  • Lead or support team in establishing standard operations and maintenance activities and procedures.
  • Coordinate, monitor and provide status updates for day to day operational concerns to customers and program stakeholders.
  • Provide tasking and direction to other operational team members in line with program and operational leadership and guidance.
  • Effectively coordinate support escalation communication.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of appropriate project technical documentation including design, configuration, installation.
  • Troubleshoot system related problems and perform break/fix actions to restore service outages.
Requirements
  • SCCM for automation and deployment of OS system imaging and packaging.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience with Powershell scripting for automation and deployment.
