We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our team at Technical Source. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day engineering support to our manufacturing areas.
Key Responsibilities- PLC Programming: Develop and implement PLC code using Rockwell Control Logix, with a focus on Allen-Bradley Control Logix and AB500 systems.
- Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with manufacturing and other functional groups to ensure regulatory compliance and resolve technical issues.
- Validation and Testing: Design and execute validation activities, analyze data, and report results to ensure the quality and reliability of our systems.
- Equipment Management: Manage and execute change control activities related to equipment, and assist in the design, installation, and start-up of new equipment and systems.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Perform technical troubleshooting and implement problem resolution for existing and new equipment/systems.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in automation systems development and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Rockwell Control Logix PLC code and Allen-Bradley Control Logix systems.
- Ability to review electrical design, train, and identify gaps and develop countermeasures around programming issues.
- Robotic systems experience is a plus.
