Nuclear Pharmacist I

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Pharmacist I to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for compounding and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals in a clean room environment, while ensuring compliance with various pharmacy regulations and maintaining cGMP control.
Key Responsibilities- Compound and dispense radiopharmaceuticals in a clean room environment
- Perform media fills, draw doses, and review batch records
- Answer phone calls, enter orders, and provide quality customer service
- Train and supervise nuclear pharmacy technicians
- Attend meetings and provide on-the-floor QA oversight
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions or complaints from groups of managers, clients, customers, the public, or regulatory agencies
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Strong management and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in all MS Office applications
- Proficiency in Pinestar or other pharmacy applications preferred
- Ability to be detail-oriented, responsible, dependable, patient, organized, professional, and work in a team environment
- Ability to work various shifts and weekends
- Ability to communicate professionally with colleagues and customers
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Up to 10% travel
- Need AU or ANP authorized user for radiation within 6 months
- Must be NJ licensed within 6 months into the role
- 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacist (Retail or Nuclear is ideal)
- B.S. or Pharm.D. from an accredited pharmacy school
