Job Summary

The HVAC Service Technician 1 is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rental equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls.
  • Deliver and install rented HVAC equipment, providing training to authorized operators on safe use and operation.
  • Direct customers to sign relevant paperwork, tracking serial numbers and ensuring accurate records.
  • Troubleshoot equipment operation, function, specifications, capabilities, and controls, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Operate company vehicles safely, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Clean and test returned equipment, ensuring operation and appearance meet standards.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls.
  • Install flexible gas hoses on propane and natural gas applications, implementing safe procedures for gas connections.
  • Maintain accurate records and tracking of in-stock and rented equipment, working closely with managers and sales engineers.
  • Be available for emergency service response calls on weekends and evenings, rotating schedules as needed.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a service-related role interacting with customers.
  • Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, free from points.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Ability to work some after-hours and weekend shifts during peak periods.
