We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Porter to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a key member of our Food Service Department, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.
Responsibilities- Clean and maintain all areas of the Food Service Department, adhering to safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
- Collect and dispose of food-related and recyclable waste/trash in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform warewashing duties according to safety guidelines.
- Transport carts, deliver meal trays, or pick up meal trays from assigned areas.
- Clean and maintain carts and kitchen equipment using proper techniques and cleaning solutions.
- Comply with internal policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements/standards regarding kitchen safety and sanitation.
- No degree or other education required.
- No prior experience necessary.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action in stressful situations. You will be required to stand, walk, and lift/carry objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
ShiftThis position is for evening shifts.
