The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing them to deliver high-quality care and education to patients. They will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans and coordinated care.

This part-time position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Job Summary

The board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) provides comprehensive healthcare services to women, focusing on both obstetrics and gynecology. The WHNP-BC conducts examinations, diagnoses and treats medical conditions, performs routine screenings, and offers reproductive health counseling. Collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals, the WHNP-BC contributes to the well-being of women throughout all stages of life.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality care to female patients including prenatal and postnatal care, annual well-women exams, and family planning services.
  • Assessing and diagnosing gynecological conditions, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans in consultation with supervising physicians.
  • Performing various clinical procedures, such as Pap smears, breast exams, pelvic exams, colposcopies, and ultrasounds, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Offering patient education on reproductive health, contraception options, prenatal care, and menopause management, promoting informed decision-making.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams, including obstetricians, gynecologists, nurses, and other specialists, to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment for patients.
  • Efficiently documenting patient information within EHR systems.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with specialization in Women's Health.
  • Board certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC).
  • Master's degree in nursing with a focus on Women's Health.
  • Certification from a recognized credentialing body (e.g., NCC).
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in women's healthcare.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care and patient education.
