Responsibilities:

We are in search of a Registered Nurse (RN) with specialized knowledge in Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) to enhance our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with a licensed ECMO physician to manage the ECMO system and address the clinical needs of patients.

This cooperative position will involve working alongside other physicians, Respiratory Care Practitioners, Perfusionists, and various healthcare professionals to formulate and execute tailored care plans.

Your expertise in operating the ECMO machine will be crucial in delivering outstanding care and achieving positive outcomes for our critically ill patients.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a healthcare-related field OR national certification related to nursing specialty required
  • Healthcare-related degrees may require approval by the ACNO/CNO group prior to acceptance
  • Completion of an ECMO Management training course with documented necessary skills as an ECMO Specialist validated by the Medical Director required
Licenses and Certifications:
  • RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to practice within the state of California required
  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • NATIONAL - National Certification related to specialty and applicable to role (if qualifying with this option) required
  • One of the following is preferred: CCRN - Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse or CES-A - Adult Certified ECMO Specialist
