Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Builders FirstSource. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in the production of high-quality trusses, panels, and other building materials.

• Assemble and fabricate trusses, panels, and other building components according to specifications.
• Operate machinery and equipment to perform force fitting and fastening operations.
• Cut and shape materials to precise measurements.
• Inspect and test products for quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with production team members to ensure efficient and safe workflow.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in carpentry or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

The Assembly Technician will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for this role.

Physical Demands: The Assembly Technician will be required to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks. Regular breaks and stretching exercises are encouraged to prevent fatigue and injury.
