Job Overview

We are looking for a committed and trustworthy Material Handler to support our operations at Tree of Life Products. The selected individual will be essential in managing the effective and secure movement, storage, and handling of materials throughout our facility. A strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and a keen interest in logistics are essential for this role.

Primary Duties:

  • Load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse or production area utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, or other machinery.
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor inventory levels, ensuring all materials are appropriately labeled and stored.
  • Prepare materials for distribution, including packaging, labeling, and organizing.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to promptly fulfill material requests.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize accidents and injuries.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a material handler, warehouse worker, or in a similar capacity is preferred.
  • Capability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
  • Strong physical endurance; ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate well within a team.
