Job Overview:

  • Provide critical care services to patients requiring advanced life support and stabilization.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Collects and documents data about patients seen on the unit.
  • Interprets assessment data to prioritize treatment needs.
  • Implements and evaluates individual plan of care.
  • Prioritizes and assesses patient acuity and treatment modalities.
  • Communicates discharge instructions and teaching.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience as an RN, preferably in the Emergency Department or Critical Care setting.
  • Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license; Nevada RN license preferred.
  • Completion of Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 6 months of hire.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; enrollment in RQI Basic Life Support program encouraged.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $71,510 - $92,630 per year, based on experience and location.
