Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Samaritan Healthcare.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working nights, 7pm - 7:30am, 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs to determine individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory care processes, lifestyle modifications, and equipment usage.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians to ensure effective implementation of care orders and protocols.
  • Report any adverse effects or signs of respiratory dysfunction from therapies and medications.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Graduate degree in AMA-accredited Respiratory Care Practitioner education program (or equivalent).
  • At least two years of postgraduate acute care respiratory care experience (preferred).
  • CRT, RRT eligible, or RRT credentials from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), and State of Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner Certification/License.
  • Current BLS (Healthcare Provider Level), ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
