Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Care Specialist to join our Samaritan Healthcare community. As a key member of our Pulmonary Team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory assessment and care to patients with various respiratory disorders. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough respiratory assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians and hospital protocols.
  • Implement effective respiratory care interventions based on your training, experience, and competence.
  • Work closely with Nursing and Medical Staff to ensure seamless delivery of quality care.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • A degree from an AMA-accredited two-year Respiratory Care Practitioner education program (or equivalent state regulatory requirements).
  • At least two years of postgraduate acute care respiratory care experience (preferably).
  • CRT, RRT eligibility or active credentials from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), and State of Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner Certification/License.
  • Current BLS (Healthcare Provider Level), ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
