Job Summary
Rhythm Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Science Liaison to join our Field Medical team. As a trusted scientific partner, you will serve as a credible source of clinical and scientific data to key stakeholders within the North America Region.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with key external experts, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and practicing clinicians.
- Support research initiatives, advisory boards, and other scientific exchange activities to advance Rhythm's medical plan and strategies.
- Provide scientific input and participate in local medical and cross-functional initiatives/projects.
- Interpret key scientific data and translate this information to meet educational and research needs in alignment with Rhythm Medical Communications.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in a technical, scientific, or medical field (PharmD, PhD, MD) strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 6+ years of relevant education and experience in the pharmaceutical / biotech industries (Obesity, Endocrinology, Neurology, Genetics, or Pediatrics preferred).
- Excellent working knowledge of policies and guidance documents related to compliant medical affairs activities (ICH, GCP, PhRMA, DOJ, OIG, R&D Code of Ethical Practices and company policies).
- Superior communication skills and scientific acumen when presenting clinical, disease state information to a variety of audiences.
