POSITION OVERVIEW
Job Title: Hannaford To Go - Order Fulfillment Specialist

Department: Hannaford To Go

Reports To: Assistant Store Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Qualifications:
Strong communication and customer service abilities are essential. Candidates must meet the minimum age requirements for specific job functions (18 years). A demonstrated willingness to learn various tasks and technical aspects of the role is required, along with the capability to fulfill the technical requirements for Hannaford To Go Service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by upholding high standards in service delivery.
  • Examine customer orders for any discrepancies, inquiries, or notes.
  • Ensure all orders are accurate and of high quality to guarantee customer contentment.
  • Communicate order details and modifications to customers through various channels.
  • Seek assistance from store leadership for customer service issues or operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with Department Managers to ensure fresh orders are processed correctly.
  • Assist customers at the designated pickup area.
  • Manage cash pickups and change orders as necessary, documenting as required.
  • Verify customer identification and adhere to store policies regarding checks and alcohol sales.
  • Process refunds, over-rings, and other transactions requiring approval.
  • Ensure timely shopping of all customer orders, communicating any potential delays to leadership.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all company policies and established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
  • Treat all associates with respect and fairness.
  • Assist with special projects and perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
  • Handle return-to-stock items promptly, prioritizing perishable goods.
  • Comply with all safety standards and report any necessary equipment repairs.
  • Package merchandise according to company policies for customer pickup.
  • Control the use of store supplies to minimize waste.
  • Assist in the prompt cleanup of spills and breakages to maintain safety.
  • Recognize and differentiate between various types of produce.
  • Document any pricing discrepancies and request checks according to company policy.
  • Observe security protocols and report any suspicious behavior.
  • Process all types of sales transactions in compliance with company policies.
  • Secure registers and equipment when unattended to protect company assets.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in line with store policies and health regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
  • Perform repetitive motions while standing or walking for most of the shift.
  • Lift products weighing up to 15 pounds continuously, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Push or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Work in various weather conditions as necessary.
  • Gather and transport shopping carts as needed.
  • Handle various substances related to cleaning and food products.
  • Have sufficient visual acuity to read displays and identification.
