Heavy Equipment Operator

Transforce is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team as a CDL Driver, Union at EPIC. This role requires safe transportation of materials from client locations to assigned destinations for processing or disposal.
Key Responsibilities- Complete daily truck logs and submit reports of mileage covered at the end of each day
- Represent Transforce as a brand advocate and ambassador in all interactions with clients and the public
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform preventative maintenance on trucks and equipment
- Comply with all relevant regulations, procedures, and rules, including DOT, state, local, and in-house guidelines
- Operate equipment in a safe manner at all times, adhering to company policies and industry standards
- Perform loading, unloading, and timely delivery of materials to assigned/approved destinations
- Travel from job site to job site or plant to job site, potentially involving overnight stays
- Clean bio-solids from equipment before leaving the field site or landfill
- Assist with shop clean-up, maintenance, and equipment/tools setup
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to back up equipment safely and efficiently
- Memorization of routes and ability to follow directions
- Safe operation of equipment
- Ability to travel extensively
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class A with Tanker Endorsement preferred
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving/heavy equipment experience
- Safe driving record: No serious tickets or accidents in the last 5 years, no DWI/DUI in the last 10 years
This position involves working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to weather, atmospheric conditions, and potential hazards such as moving mechanical parts, electrical current, and high places.
Transforce offers a competitive salary for this role, estimated at around $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. The actual salary may vary depending on individual qualifications and experience.
