Job Summary

The Central Sterile Technician II position at University Hospital in Newark, NJ involves the preparation and sterilization of medical equipment and devices. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include collecting, receiving, cleaning, assembling, packaging, sterilizing, and distributing medical devices, equipment, and supplies used to support patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to perform job duties, and have New Jersey accredited Central Service Certification.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
