Job Title :
MRI Technologist Job Specialty : Diagnostic Imaging Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Friday (1 PM - 9:30 PM), Saturday/Sunday (6:30 AM - 7 PM) - 32 hours per week Guaranteed Hours : 32 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Certified Radiology Technologist Certifications : - Basic Life Support Certification- Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Must-Have :

  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology Job Description:
  • Perform imaging procedures at a technical level, including neuro, body, and extremity MRI procedures.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Magnetic Resonance imaging processes and safety protocols.
  • Provide protection to patients and personnel in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
  • Prepare and position patients for Magnetic Resonance procedures, explaining exams and answering patients' questions.
  • Perform venous access on patients requiring IV contrast


Enter necessary data into Radiology Imaging System and image management systems.- Process images as necessary and identify anatomy on images.- Conduct quality control tests of equipment; report any irregularities.- Notify appropriate personnel of equipment malfunctions and supply levels.- Act as a Radiology liaison, providing radiological support to physicians as requested.

- Handle imaging exams and procedure tray setup, including access to non-controlled


Work performed in a clinical environment; ensure compliance with all organization policies and procedures.- Additional competencies and skills assigned during department-specific orientation as essential to the job.
