Job Title: MRI Technologist

Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for taking medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes using magnetic resonance imaging. You will work in a hospital, outpatient center, private practice, imaging center, or other healthcare facility, preparing patients for MRIs, operating MRI technology, processing MRIs for radiologists and physicians, and handling patient records.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI technology to take medical images of patients
  • Prepare patients for MRIs, including explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly
  • Process MRIs for radiologists and physicians, ensuring accurate and high-quality images
  • Handle patient records, including maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of recent experience as an MRI Technologist
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Current state license (if applicable)
