About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team at IHC Health Services, Inc. in Billings, Montana. As a Cardiothoracic Surgeon, you will work with a team of experienced professionals to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our cardiovascular program.

Responsibilities
  • Perform complex cardiothoracic surgeries, including heart transplants, coronary artery bypass grafting, and valve repairs
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct pre- and post-operative care, including patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiothoracic surgery and incorporate new techniques and technologies into practice
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Residency or Fellowship trained in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery
  • Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
  • Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete IHC Health Services, Inc.'s credentialing process
