About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a Cardiothoracic Surgeon, you will work with a team of experienced professionals to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our cardiovascular and thoracic surgery program.

Responsibilities
  • Perform complex cardiothoracic surgeries, including heart transplants, coronary artery bypass grafting, and lung resections.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines for cardiothoracic surgery.
  • Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows in cardiothoracic surgery.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiothoracic surgery and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
  • Residency or Fellowship trained in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery.
  • Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline.
  • Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process.
