We are seeking a skilled and passionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Mid Island Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise and technical skills to deliver exceptional patient care and support our veterinarians in providing the highest quality medical care.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate nursing care to a diverse range of patients, including diagnostic sample collection, catheter placement, venipuncture, radiography, anesthesia, and pain management.
- Collaborate closely with our veterinarians to elevate medical standards and advocate for patients.
- Support our team in creating a positive and supportive work environment that promotes work-life balance and allows team members to apply their passion, skills, and education to make a difference for pets and their humans.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a veterinary practice setting and a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
- Ability to promote a positive culture by supporting and lifting up fellow team members.
- Exceptional patient care skills and a commitment to educating clients and elevating medical standards.

- Hourly rate of $23-$32/hour depending on licensure and experience.
