Job Title: Continuous Improvement Manager

At SIG Combibloc, we are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving lean transformation activities, championing change, and providing expertise in lean improvement techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain a culture of continuous improvement by coaching and training function managers and production employees.
  • Execute SQDCP improvement projects, adhering to set plans and timelines.
  • Lead process improvement projects, utilizing lean, TPM, and 6-Sigma tools.
  • Train and coach functional managers and CI Pillar and Foundation leaders on supporting CI projects and methodology.
  • Support the process of best practice sharing, coordinate horizontal expansion, and leverage group strength.
  • Perform process audits, support 5S/Visual Management/Standardize work/TPM activities in the plant/on the shopfloor.
  • Support/conduct training on CI (TPM, Lean & 6-Sigma) tools.
Requirements:
  • Completed studies in mechanical/industrial engineering (preferred).
  • Further education courses in Continuous Improvement methodologies and Tools: Lean, Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), World Class Manufacturing (WCM), or Operational Excellence (OpEx).
  • Knowledge of optimization of production processes and shop floor management.
  • Knowledge of project management and facilitation of workshops.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing).

  • Frequently required the use of hands to finger, feel, reach, or handle machinery.

  • Visual Acuity (VA).
