Responsibilities:

* Apply solid knowledge of financial and business analytics principles to all deliverables.
* Collaborate with merchandising team to assess the financial impact of product assortment decisions, promotions, and pricing strategies.
* Prepare, analyze and communicate financial reports as well as financial and non-financial insights related to sales and inventory performance, including turnover rates, stock levels, and gross margin analysis to functional partners, and merchandising leadership.
* Analyze inventory aging, obsolescence, and other key metrics to minimize financial impact and support inventory health.
* Support the development of all merchandise financial plans.
* Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes related to inventory and merchandising.
* Identify and communicate key financial risks, root causes and opportunities, proposing actionable recommendations to improve financial outcomes.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, supply chain or a related field required.
* 5-7 years' experience in financial analysis and forecasting with a focus on inventory management, merchandising, or retail finance.
* Strong understanding of inventory management principles and their financial implications.
* Experience with analytic modeling and report automation as well as analyzing big data via data structuring and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
* Basic understanding of statistics.
* Ability to manage multiple projects through the project management process.
* Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
