Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Cycle Counter to join our team at Pridgeon and Clay. As an Inventory Control Cycle Counter, you will be responsible for maintaining QAD inventory accuracy in an exemplary manner according to the company quality policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and perform weekly department cycle counts using QAD and report results to Production Managers and Team Leaders.
  • Spend time at USDC to address inventory issues, including the removal of voided barcode labels and correcting miscellaneous shipping and inventory errors.
  • Log all activities into the Excel spreadsheet tracking system.
  • Participate in lean initiatives such as continuous improvement events, and identifying and eliminating all types of waste.
  • Perform other duties to support inventory as directed by the Inventory Control Coordinator.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Willingness to go back to school and get an Associate's degree.
  • Exposure to inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Vulcan and QAD.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • A minimum of six months prior experience driving Hilo in a manufacturing environment.
  • A P&C Hilo license (or the ability to pass both written and practical tests to obtain one).
  • Ability to perform projects with a high degree of detail.
  • Exceptional professional attributes that include self-motivation and dependability.
  • Excellent work record, including attendance.
